I really need another Kodama picture...

There are 8 Kodama in this mission.

Kodama Locations
1. (White Bowl Hat Kodama)
From your first shrine, run down the path through the two bridges. On your left there will be a fallen tree, the Kodama is on top of it.

2. (Black Bowl Hat Kodama)
Turn around and keep running straight while hugging the right wall/house, past the rock stay on the right untill you end up behind a house with a big tree.
The kodama will be waiting the bottom of the tree

3. (Rice Farmer Hat Kodama)
Hug your right side again, kill all enemies that come along. Eventually you will end up at a house with a small opening to the left side of it.
Walk into the area untill you will see a crate, break it and a Kodama will be revealed.

4. (Red Bowl Hat Kodama)
Turn around out the small opening and make a slight right and keep running straight through some lanterns (they are on your right and left). You will end up at a big house with a big stone porch turn right on the left side of this house and run straight until you end up on some sort of offering house. The Kodama is hidden behind it

5.(Brown Bowl Hat Kodama)
Open the east gate door and fight the boss of the area there. After you calmed down the Yokai that is blocking the door - enter it and to the right near the controls there is another Kodama.

6. (White Bowl Hat Kodama)
Enter the elevator, you will end up in a big cave. At the shrine take the hallway on the left - up the stairs - go straight through the first room and then right, keep going straight untill you end up in a big room with a door to the left. Take your first left and then after a couple of steps left again where you will end up in a small open area with pots at the front. Kodama is straight in front of you, chilling behind the rocks.

7. (Black Bowl Hat Kodama)
Make your way back to the open room that you just came from and go up the small stairs on the left of this room, watch out for the statue Yokai and archer if you haven't killed them. Keep going straight on this path until you end up on a bridge of sorts and stairs that lead down to your left, take the stairs down on the left of it. (You can activate your second shrine here if needed). Exit the only door here and immediately turn left at the end of this path there is another Kodama , watch out for the statue yokai again.

8. (Red Bowl Hat Kodama)
Turn right and head up the small stairs and go down the stairs on your left. Turn right and keep going straight until you end up at a wall, turn right. Keep going straight up the huge stairs and turn left on the end of it, follow the path until you enter a room with another statue yokai. Drop down and run straight ahead towards a hallway where there is a fire arrow trap. Turn right again and run straight again , up two sets of stairs when you reach a wall go right and turn left on your first opening. Kill the yokai behind the collapsed wall and go through the small door. Kodama will be chilling here waiting to be picked up.

You should now have all the Kodama from the first region!

Kodama Guide / Info
There are little green cute creatures named Kodama (spirits that inhabit trees in Japanese folklore) scattered through all the missions.
Some are pretty well hidden and others are just chilling in some house/shack waiting to be picked up.
Each Kodama belongs to a certain blessing, they have cute little traditional Japanese hats that will let you know to which blessing they belong.
They will a certain blessing depending on which Kodama you have found.

Be careful fighting near them though, they will hide and dig underground (you will only see their hat) until you have cleared the enemies near them.

The blessing are as follows

Oracle Blessing – Increases the amount of Amarita acquired by a percentage (Rice Farmer Hat)

Swordsman Blessing – Increases weapon drop rate by a percentage (Red Bowl Hat)

Warrior Blessing – Increases armor drop rate by a percentage (Black Bowl Hat)

Healer Blessing – Increases elixir drop rate by a percentage (White Bowl Hat)

Hunter Blessing – Increases ammunition drop rate by a percentage (Brown Bowl Hat)

Elixirs Restock Upgrade
Kodama also have another very important role which is that they will give a extra elixir after you die. For each 5 kodama that you can find you will be given 1 more elixir when you die.

For example you have 0 elixirs left in the storage and died and found 0 kodama, the shrine will give you 3 elixirs. If you found 5 kodama you will start with 4. if you found 25 in the region you will start with 8 even if you 0 elixirs in the storage.
