Nioh Season Pass DLC details revealed, game has gone gold and new multiple gameplay videos have been released!

Action RPG Nioh has gone gold, the Japanese Nioh Twitter account. This means development is complete and the game is being sent off to the manufacturer ahead of release next month.
Couple hours later the Team Ninja Studio Twitter account has also announced that Nioh has gone gold!

Pre-ordering Nioh through the PS Store gets you the Nioh Bloody Grave (Dynamic) theme and a Nioh armour which is inspired by the ancient statues that stand guard at temples across Japan.




Anyone who buys Nioh within two weeks after launch in either North America or Europe will receive the Crimson Master Armour.



If you buy the deluxe edition which is €79,99/$79.99USD/£69.99,

  • You will get the full game, 
  • five in-game weapons inspired, 
  • Nioh armour inspired by the ancient statues that stand guard at temples across Japan
  •  season pass to unlock three pieces of DLC containing extra missions, story, and a PS4 avatar.

Specific details have been revealed for the Nioh Season Pass which are three new downloadable story chapters – each with new enemies and quests – which you can access as soon as they’re available.

The first is called Dragon of the North where you will be exploring the Northern provinces. The second expansion (Defiant Honor) features the Winter Campaign of the Siege of Osaka. Last but not least is Bloodshed’s End, which includes the Summer Campaign of the Siege of Osaka.

Nioh releases exclusively on the Playstation 4 on February 7th in (US) Feb.8 in (EU), and Feb.9 in (JP).
