Dark Souls 3 - Trophy Guide - Reach the Untended Graves.

Dark Souls 3 (DS3) Untended Graves Walkthrough
You are looking for the Untended Graves in Dark Souls 3 but can't find it?
Read this guide / walkthrough and you will come face to face with a formidable boss that will see how "gud" you have become!

Untended Graves Trophy
Untended Graves is optional secret area in Dark Souls 3 with it's own boss.
You have to defeat the Oceiros, the Consumed King which is located in Consumed King's Garden.

Consumed King's Garden Location
The area can be accessed after defeating Dancer of the Boreal Valley and unlocking Lothric Castle via the ladder. If you head left before entering Lothric Castle proper you will reach the area.

Oceiros, the Consumed King
Once you are victorious (defeated Oceiros) open the doors behind the bonfire. Go down the stairs and keep going straight (watch our for the lizard when you turn around the corner).
When you enter the next room you will find a body holding a Path of the Dragon emote run behind this body for a chest and hit the wall behind the chest to reveal an illusory wall.
Follow the path to enter the Untended Graves. The trophy will popup after a few seconds.

You have earned this bad boy!

Untended Graves Walkthrough
Now we got the trophy out of the way let's explore this dark area!

When you enter the Graves it looks and feels pretty similar; That's because it's the Cemetry of Ash of a world where the Age of Dark has already started and the Flame has been extinguised.
You should already have a rough idea where to go since you have been here at the start of the game, but no worries we will try and guide you as much as possible!

Follow the path forward and head down the path to the left where you can pick up the Ashen Estus Ring. Turn around and walk towards the center of the area to find Soul of Crestfallen Knight.
Watch out for the Dual Wielding Hollow who hits with bleeding and can 1-shot you with his combos. To the left you can go up the stairs to find a Titanite Chunk (Dog is hidden to right behind the wall so don't run) follow this path and go down the stairs to find another body with a Titanite Chunk. There will be multiple dogs here just kill them one by one if you can.
Up the stairs you can go left and right on the left you find a spell casting hollow and his trusty dog dispatch both of them.
You will end up in the right section where you encountered the giant Crystal Lizard in Cemetery of Ash (if you explored it), only now there are two Giant Lizards instead of one.
Just focus on one and wait for it get seperated from it's twin when it charges, if they get together dodge away and seperate them again. For your effort you will get two Titanite Scales.

From the Bonfire, proceed forward and head down the path to the left. You will encounter a group of winged enemies that you first encountered in Road of Sacrifices. In their center is an Ashen Estus Ring. Head back in the opposite direction to find Soul of a Crestfallen Knight 1x on a corpse in front of a vessel.

Run back and head out to the center path. If you are Kindled you will be invaded by Daughter of Crystal Kriemhild. As her name already suggests she fights with Crystal Sorceries, so being a caster she leaves herself open to attacks when she is casting her attacks just be careful when she swtiches to melee her stabbing combo does a lot of dmg and might even kill you if you get the full combo.
Send her back to her own world and enter the boss area down the path, you will see a familiar boss (Iudex Gundyr) but this time he is crouched and surrounded by candles. Approach him to start the battle.

Boss Fight: Champiom Gundyr
Champion Gundyr is way way way more aggresive than his Iudex Gundyr version, this fight is all about dodging and knowing when to dodge.
You can block 1 or 2 attacks but really don't rely on it too much especially in Phase 2 when his eyes glow red.
Poke him with 1-2 hits and back off again, the fight will go slow but eventually you will be victorious and earn the Soul of Champion Gundyr.
In this boss area you can find the Black Knight Glaive on a corpse by the broken wall. Light the Bonfire and open the large doors behind it.

Firelink Shrine

It's dark(er) here and some Black Knights still roam the area. Take the right path where you will find a Black Knight with a Greataxe and one with Greatsword near him.

To the left of the Shrine's entrace, Where you fight the Samurai in the Cemetery of Ash head up the series of stairs and another Black Knight will attack from the right.
Head to the top of the stairs to find the Chaos Blade. Head back down the path hugging the left to go up some stairs. At the top you will find a corpse with Soul of a Crestfallen Knight 1x. In the graves in the grass in front of this area you will see a Black Knight guarding a Hornet Ring on a corpse.

Enter the Firelink Shrine, you should be pretty familiar with the area now. Grab the Coiled Sword Fragment from the vessel where the main bonfire would be.
This is one of most usefull items in the game (free teleports!)

If you head down the hallway you will find an alternate version of the Shrine Handmaid. She sells the Wolf Knight's Set, Priestess Ring and some Embers.
You can also find the Blacksmith Hammer where Andre would be.
If you head down the hallway where Irina would be you will can hit wall and it will reveal itself as an Illusory Wall. Enter the area to find where you will find Eyes of a Fire Keeper.
You can also enter this secret area by the hitting the wall to the left (while facing the thrones) of the vessel where the Coiled Sword Fragment was resting.
You can also find Hollow Ashes on the hollow sitting where Yoel is located. (Only if you have not progressed Yoel's Quest line).

There is nothing left to explore here and you can still explore some more if you want when you are done you’ll need to teleport out. You can use your fancy new  Coiled Sword Fragment for that.
