Nioh published by Sony and adds PS4 Support
Nioh, will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and not Koei Tecmo in North America and Europe, which has been revealed by Team Ninja head Yosuke Hayashi and according to a post published on the PlayStation Blog.
The game is also getting a lot of new graphics settings (that were not in the beta which started on August 22 and ended on September 6) both on the base console and the new upcoming PS4 Pro.

The game will have three options on the "old" PS4 as shown on the PS blog:
Option 1: "Movie Mode"
This mode focuses on resolution over frame rate, offering "beautiful high resolution graphics with stable 30fps"
Option 2: "Action Mode"
This mode emphasizes on frame and provides a stable 60 fps frame rate.
Option 3: "Movie Mode (Variable frame rate)"
This mode provides high resolution graphics with a variable frame rate that may go over 30fps.
Players who will be having a Playstation 4 Pro will have more graphical settings options.
The options available vary depending on what kind of display you are using (HD or 4K).
HD display
Option 1: "Movie Mode" - Stable 1920×1080 resolution with high quality anti-aliasing at 30fps
Option 2: "Action Mode" - Stable 1920×1080 resolution at 60fps
4K display
Option 1: "Movie Mode" - Stable 3840×2160 resolution at 30fps
Option 2: "Action Mode" - Stable 1920×1080 resolution at 60fps
New Tokyo Game Show (TGS) Nioh trailer has been revealed!
Yesterday on the Tokyo Game Show - Sony has released the TGS Nioh trailer and it looks great!
It gives us some new cutscenes and a small glimpse at a new boss! Check it out below

Furthermore reddit users HelenHarper and Thomazbr found some new info about the characters in the trailer and posted them on the following post.
The screenshots shows some new characters and a new area(stage).

Luckily we know their names from this twitter post it is in Japanese, but translated they mention the character names are Ishida Mitsunari, Shima Sakon and Otani Yoshitsugu.
So there you have it folks the screenshots show us
Ishida Mitsunari, Otani Yoshitsugu, and Shima Sakon.
It's not entirely clear yet what their role will be in the game but it looks like they will be rivals to our blonde samurai William.
